Welcome to the Carrot River Elementary School. I am Candace Panchyshyn Beriguete and I have been the Principal here for five years. I was born and raised in Carrot River and aside from five years teaching abroad in the Dominican Republic, I have spent my 25-year teaching career in Carrot River between CRES and CRJSHS, teaching all Grades from Kindergarten to Grade 12, as well as Diversity Education. I live with my husband, Jose and children, Sienna and Diego. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, camping, fishing, hunting and baking.
Welcome to CRES! I have been working here as the Administrative Assistant and Librarian since 2013, prior to working at CRES I spent 3 years working as an Outreach Worker at Central Park Elementary School in Nipawin. Prior to working for NESD I was employed by North East Regional Victim Services, where I continue to volunteer. My husband Jason works for Richardson Pioneer. We have three daughters, Makayla, Arianne and Hailey who keep us busy with hockey, ball, dance and and school sports. In my spare time I love watching my kids and other people's children play sports. I also love to be outdoors and enjoy baking.
